In honor of Valentine’s Day this week, I made a decision to jot down a poem and somewhat music devoted to my candy little loves, Draper and Rue. Since I’m no poet or songwriter, I opted to jot down these little odes as a enjoyable play on well-known, well-known melodies and “pupified” them!

My dearest weens,
Roses are pink, and so are your toys,
My Dachshund duo, you convey infinite pleasure.
Your tiny legs scurry, your tails wag with aptitude,
Two little hearts bursting with love and care.
Your barks fill the air, and also you snuggle in tight,
On daily basis with you each is simply pure delight.
By means of blankets you burrow, to make the proper nest,
Two tiny adventurers, who know me the perfect.
With treats in my pocket, and kisses on cue,
My world spins round each Draper and Rue.
Draper, my charmer, so dapper and candy,
Whereas Miss Rue brings the sass together with her speedy little toes.
From morning sprints to lazy day naps,
Draper and Rue, you fill our life with laughs.
With floppy ears and lots to share,
Each second’s sweeter with you as a pair!
